On Sunday, we remembered that the Reformation was never just about reforming the church — it was about liberation.
When Jesus says, “You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free,” that freedom is not the absence of boundaries — it’s the presence of love, courage, and right relationship.
We wear red not only for tradition, but as a commitment:
to let the Spirit’s fire move us toward justice, to love boldly, and to be continually reformed by grace.
Reformation without liberation is just maintenance.
But liberation, God’s liberation, sets all creation aflame with love.
